Business identity, monitored contact addresses, integration details, retention periods, and commercial terms still need verification. These pages are not a confirmation of regulatory or platform approval.
At a glance
- You can ask to delete an account, a particular platform connection’s data, or enquiry information.
- Revoking provider access, deleting stored data, and cancelling billing are separate steps.
- This page provides instructions. It does not automatically delete data or submit a request.
Send a deletion request
Contact [email protected] from the email associated with your enquiry or workspace, using the subject “Data deletion request”. The mailbox and handling process are awaiting verification, as noted above; do not use this draft page as evidence that deletion is operational.
- Identify your workspace or business and the email used with Switchapex.
- Specify whether you want account closure, removal of a connected platform’s data, or deletion of an enquiry.
- For connected data, provide the platform and relevant Page, organisation, account, or app-scoped identifier if you have it.
- Ask for confirmation of receipt, the scope of deletion, and completion or any lawful retention exception.
Provide only enough information to identify your records. Do not send passwords, access tokens, OTPs, full payment credentials, or unnecessary government identity documents. Identity and authority may need proportionate verification.
Revoke connected-platform access
If you have an active Switchapex connection, remove its authorisation through the provider’s account settings. Labels may change; use the provider’s current help instructions.
- Google: open your third-party connections, choose Switchapex, and remove the relevant access.
- Facebook / Instagram: review Apps and Websites or Business Integrations in your Meta account settings and remove Switchapex where listed. A connected professional account may also need its business authorisation removed.
- LinkedIn: review permitted services in account privacy settings and remove Switchapex.
- X: review Apps and sessions → Connected apps and revoke Switchapex access.
Revocation stops future access through that authorisation. To remove copies already held by Switchapex, send a deletion request as well. This does not delete your Google, Meta, LinkedIn, or X account.
What deletion should cover
Depending on the request and the live service, removal can include account details, connection tokens, synchronised records, drafts, analytics copies, or enquiry information. A business customer may control records about its own customers; contact that business as well if your request concerns its workspace.
Posts already published on another platform, records held independently by payment providers, and enquiry files downloaded to your own device are outside a Switchapex database deletion. Remove those separately where appropriate.
Timing, retention, and confirmation
The responsible team should confirm what was removed and explain any necessary legal retention, restricted use, or backup handling. A general retention period must not override a shorter platform deadline.
For applicable LinkedIn API data, deletion on request or account closure is immediate, subject to its legal exception. X requires stored content updates or removal as soon as reasonably possible and within 24 hours of a qualifying request. Google and Meta requirements also apply to their data. See the platform-data section for official references.
There is no automated deletion backend or request-status tracker in this website. A live workflow, verified mailbox, and actual retention schedule are required before these instructions can support a production integration.
Cancel billing separately
Request subscription cancellation through the billing method in your order or [email protected]. Data deletion alone does not guarantee that a payment mandate has stopped, and cancellation does not automatically delete records. Read the cancellation and refund policy before closing a paid account.
